Here at Impington Village College, we welcome applications from all students in our community and strive to provide the highest standard of education appropriate to each student’s age, interests and abilities. We are passionate about inspiring a future generation of learners, helping them to grow and develop, and preparing them for a world beyond the classroom. Surrounded by large grassy fields, ideal for whole-College events, our site sits in the beautiful village of Impington, located in close proximity to the cosmopolitan city of Cambridge. There are fantastic transport links to the city centre, with buses departing from directly outside the College every 20 minutes.
Our College is non-selective and we take students of all abilities, working with them throughout their time with us, so that they can achieve the academic results that they deserve. All College admissions are processed by the Cambridgeshire Local Authority (LA).
Throughout October, the College hosts a number of open evenings for prospective Year 7 and Year 12 families, where students and their parents are able to visit the College and see first-hand our facilities and hear about our curriculum, as well as listen to a number of talks from dedicated staff and our inspiring current student cohort. For full information on our Year 6 Open Evening, please visit here.
