2018 Results

Exceptional results at Impington International College:

For the fourth year in a row, the pass rate for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma exceeded 95%, with 96% of students passing in 2018, an outstanding success in comparison to the international pass rate of 80%.

The average point score for our DP students was 34, a significant achievement for a totally non-selective College and well in excess of the international and national average. Nine students this year achieved a score of 40+ points, placing them in the top 4% of all IB candidates across the world. Two students, Lydia Ciaccio and Roella Smith, achieved a perfect score of 45 points, making them two of less than 300 students across the world who achieved top marks.

We are hugely proud of all 51 of our IB graduates this year, most of whom come to us with C and B grade GCSE or equivalent profiles and all of whom succeed in the rigorous IB Diploma programme at Impington.

We are likewise delighted for our second IB Careers Programme cohort who achieved an amazing 100% pass and an outstanding 50% distinction or distinction star in their BTEC components.

Our A-Level and BTEC Students also delivered superb outcomes with 72% achieving A*-C and Pass grades and 97% achieving A*- E and Pass grades.

All of our students have achieved amazing results thanks to their hard work and the excellent support provided by the staff here at Impington.
