Impington Village College

Continued GCSE Success

Students at Impington Village College are celebrating another pleasing year of GCSE results. This year 65% of the cohort achieved A*- C grades including English and Mathematics.

With 243 students in this year’s GCSE cohort, Impington Village College can announce that 65% gained A*-C grades, with 25% receiving the top A*-A marks. Those to particularly note are the 19 students who gained 10 or more A* or A grades.

It must also be reported on the success of the English Baccalaureate (EBACC) that Impington Village College offered to 143 students. 66% gained the measure and this equates to 38% based on the cohort as a whole, which makes for an impressive statistic.

Principal Robert Campbell said, “We are pleased, once again, with the achievements of students at IVC, with another good year of results. So many of the cohort worked tirelessly to secure these GCSEs, supported as ever by our team of wonderful staff”.

Impington Village College continually aims to build on its results each year, allowing students to fulfil their next steps in education with purpose and positivity.
