Sixth Form Celebrates IB Results
Impington International Sixth Form Celebrates IB results once again in excess of the International Average
In our 75th anniversary year as a village college and our 22nd offering the IB Diploma, we are proud to be able announce that our students secured a pass rate of 83% for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, comfortably in excess of the international pass rate of 78%. The average point score was 30. Although slightly down on last year’s pass rate of 90%, we are very proud of the achievements of our students and pleased that we can celebrate more than a decade of results consistently above the international average.
Rob Campbell, Principal of the Impington International Sixth Form, said:
'With over 50 students sitting the full Diploma, we are one of the largest state providers of this academic and rigorous programme. It is great to see our comprehensive intake continue to perform very well relatively against students globally who are typically rigorously selected on their academic ability. The IB Diploma and its courses are a superb preparation for both university and employment and we are very proud to be strengthening our
relationship with the IB.'
