IVC Students at the Teen Tech Awards

On 20 June four students from IVC visited the Royal Society to join other finalists for the Teen Tech Awards 2016. AJ Bolt from year 13 delivered a lecture on his research project on GM foods whilst three students from year 7, Jim Roughan, Eddie Roe, and Peter Warrington displayed their app on to make biking safer for students. Everyone enjoyed the day and Jim even got to ask a question to Brian Cox. The year 7 team were the People’s Choice Award winners and will be rewarded with special experiences with the sponsoring companies and an invitation from TeenTech Patron HRH Duke of York KG to a special reception at Buckingham Palace in the Autumn.
