The Cambourne to Cambridge project aims to deliver fast and reliable bus services, serviced by a new Park & Ride site, together with high quality cycling and walking facilities, for people travelling between Cambridge and the towns and villages to the west of the city.
As one of the UK’s fastest growing areas, we are proud of our economic success but, as a result, our roads must cope with more and more traffic. If we don’t act now by 2031, time spent in traffic jams could almost double and the quality of the air we breathe deteriorate. To address this the Greater Cambridge Partnership wants to deliver new infrastructure which offers a real alternative to driving.
Since consulting with you in 2015, options have been narrowed to look at two possible on-road bus routes and an off-road bus route. Whether you live, work, study or travel in or through the area, we need your views so that we can create the best scheme for the area’s needs, both now and in the future.
Have your say on:
- two new options for a new Park & Ride site
- improved, faster and more reliable bus services
- new or improved cycling and walking facilities
Find out more and let us know your views through the online survey available at www.greatercambridge.org.uk/c2c . You can also have your say at a local event or through the postal survey being delivered across the area immediately affected by the project in and between Cambourne and Cambridge.
Remember to have your say before the consultation closes on Monday 22 January 2018.
