The College

Inclusive, Inspirational, International

In 2020, Impington Village College was crowned East Anglia's State Secondary School of the Year and was also one of only three comprehensive schools to feature in the top 100 state schools in the UK. Our students leave the College with the academic results that they deserve and, in the last four years, student progress has consistently been in the top 5% nationally.

From September 2020, we begin our exciting journey towards offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP). Students will follow the MYP from Years 7 to 9, following which, they will receive careful guidance on choosing their GCSE options, which they will study in Years 10 and 11.

A flagship IB provider for over 30 years, our sixth form, Impington International College, has been awarded top non-selective state provider of the IB by the Sunday Times Parent Power list, and we are the only state provision in the UK to offer the MYP, the Diploma Programme (DP) and the Career-related Programme (CP).

Our curriculum promotes international-mindedness, cultural awareness and understanding and is a celebration of our community’s diversity, ensuring that our students are well equipped for the world beyond the classroom.
