Coffee and catch ups

At the College, we understand the importance of regular contact between parents and staff, which is why we have planned a robust programme of events for the year. From coffee mornings to workshops and Parent Evenings, I am pleased that there are so many opportunities to meet with you throughout the year.

Our coffee morning for parents of our Middle Years Programme (MYP) students took place this week and was a huge success – thank you to all those who attended. I am looking forward to welcoming parents of Year 10 and 11 students to our dedicated GCSE coffee morning next Thursday. Each coffee morning is a chance to meet other parents, learn more about College life and even enjoy a tour of the College facilities. To join us, please reserve your space

Parent workshops

I am delighted that so many of you were able to join our first MYP Parent Workshop on 14 September. Led by Vice Principal, Johanna Sale, the session focused on the MYP’s philosophy and pedagogy to provide more insight on why the programme successfully supports your child’s learning and development.

Our next workshop will take place on 2 November and will explore MYP grading and assessment. Reserve your free place

Tea-rrific Teaching Assistants

Every one of our 40 Teaching Assistants play an important role in supporting your child’s learning and I was pleased to celebrate their hard work and dedication last Friday on National Teaching Assistant Day with a special tea.

As the College continues to grow and evolve, we are always looking for passionate individuals to join our team and you can find our current vacancies here

Sixth Form success

Finally, I would like to extend my congratulations to our talented alumna, Billie Bowman, for being cast as Midwestern Surf Punk in Heathers: The Musical on the West End!

I am proud that our Sixth Form, Impington International College, offers students the opportunity to combine their academic studies with expert coaching, and practical experience, through the Performance School scholarship to prepare them for a career in their chosen field. Learn more about how your child can continue to explore their passion for performing in conjunction with the academic rigour of the IB at our Open Evening on 13 October. Book your place today
