Cambridge Film Festival 2017
The Cambridge Family Film Festival runs this half term - 21st-26th October at the Arts Picturehouse Cinema in Cambridge which is just above the Wetherspoons pub- The Regal.
The Festival has a great mix of films and animations for all ages. They have modern hits and well loved classics. Plus films from across the world bringing stories and insights to entertain and inform.
Each morning at 10am there will be a free screening of a short film, animation or documentary. For older children they are showing the documentary The Infamous Chalk Girl which includes a Q&A with the director. Plus two Oscar winning shorts - a film called The Red Balloon and an animation called The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr Morris Lessmore. At 11am each day there will be a feature film for the special Family Film Festival price of £4 per ticket. Feature films include The Lego Ninjago Movie, The Eagle Huntress and Studio Ghibli's The Red Turtle.
They will also have pop up activities with the Cambridge Science Centre and The Fitzwilliam Museum.
