Governing Body 2012

The Governing Body is truly committed to the development and continuous improvement of Impington Village College.  We are drawn from different walks of life but we are unified in our passion for learning.  IVC is a very special place, founded on the unique and inspiring vision of Henry Morris, and we want to ensure we achieve our Vision and embody our Mission through everything we do.   

In addition to all the statutory responsibilities of governance, as an Academy, we are responsible for the employment of staff, the College site and the admissions policy.  We pride ourselves on our involvement and engagement with all the stakeholders of IVC including the wider community.  In 2010, we established the principle of open and transparent governance by holding the first of many regular public meetings.
